Thanks for taking time to visit my site! I'm Kris Samel — the "KMS" in KMS Creative Designs. Art has been a part of my life every since I was old enough to hold a crayon!

After 4 years of exploring the freedom of the fine arts in college, the reality of life (and paying bills) led me to a career in graphic design. My work history ranges from designing for a variety of companies including an ad agency, newspaper, book and magazine publishers. I learned unique skills from all these experiences and now, as a freelance designer, I truly love what I do!

I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of the creative process from the critical stage of concept planning to making ideas come to life. I highly regard building strong working relationships with my clients and always strive for their complete satisfaction. I’m extremely detail oriented with a deep passion for finding the perfect blend between function, clarity and aesthetic beauty. I respond promptly to all requests and am very easy to work with. As a freelancer, my day doesn't end at 5pm - I will work extra hours and weekends to make sure tight deadlines are always met.

When I'm not designing, I like to get my hands dirty on home improvement projects. On weekends, I love to completely unplug and go for long hikes in the desert to explore the visual beauty of Arizona. It's the best way to recharge my soul!
